Recently I had the opportunity to help a great couple transition a house they purchased into the home they dreamed of living in. With only a couple of weeks before they moved in, we managed to install a new kitchen back splash, put hardwoods in the upstairs hallway and office, paint several rooms in the house, steam and re-stretch all the existing carpeting, replace laminate flooring in the mudroom with durable tile, refinish all the hardwoods in the house, and add new carpet to the master, living room, and stairs. It was a lot of decisions and involved many contractors, but mostly it was a lot of fun! The best part? It had to be visiting the homeowners after they were settled in. They were beyond happy!
